Privacy Policy
Fabric Privacy Policy#
Effective date: 3/18/26
1. Scope of This Privacy Policy#
This Privacy Policy describes how TechFabric LLC collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when individuals visit our websites, register for Fabric, use the Service, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with us in a business context. It also explains the choices and rights that may apply under privacy laws.
2. Categories of Personal Information We Collect#
Depending on how you interact with Fabric, we may collect the following categories of personal information: identifiers and contact details, such as name, email address, username, employer, and phone number; account and profile information; commercial information, such as subscription records, billing status, and transaction history; payment-related information processed by our payment providers; internet or network activity information, such as log data, browser type, device identifiers, IP address, pages viewed, feature usage, and timestamps; approximate location derived from IP address; communications and support content; integration metadata; user-generated content and files; AI prompts, context, and output interaction data; and inferences derived from usage to improve usability, security, personalization, and product performance.
3. Sources of Personal Information#
We collect personal information directly from you, automatically from your device and your use of the Service, from your employer or organization if you are invited to a workspace, from integrated services you authorize, from service providers acting on our behalf, and from publicly or commercially available sources where legally permitted.
4. Purposes for Collection and Use#
We use personal information to provide and operate Fabric; create and administer accounts; authenticate users; process payments and subscriptions; provide support; analyze usage; improve performance, reliability, and user experience; secure the Service and prevent fraud or abuse; communicate about the Service; comply with legal obligations; enforce our agreements; and, where permitted by law, send product updates, event invitations, and marketing communications. We may also use personal information for internal research, troubleshooting, training, quality assurance, and de-identified or aggregated analytics where permitted by law.
5. Notice at Collection#
At or before the point of collection, we aim to inform users of the categories of personal information collected and the purposes for which those categories are used. For website sign-up flows, this Privacy Policy should be linked near the form fields or acceptance controls used to create an account.
6. How We Disclose Personal Information#
We may disclose personal information to affiliates; hosting and infrastructure providers; analytics providers; customer support vendors; payment processors; communications providers; security vendors; AI and machine learning infrastructure providers; integration partners you authorize; professional advisors; and authorities or counterparties where disclosure is reasonably necessary for legal compliance, investigation, protection of rights, or a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or asset sale. We do not sell personal information for money. Unless and until this Privacy Policy is updated to state otherwise and required notices are provided, we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies#
We and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies to remember preferences, authenticate sessions, measure usage, improve the Service, and support security. Where legally required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies.
8. Data Retention#
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Service, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods may vary based on the type of data, the nature of the relationship, and legal requirements.
9. Data Security#
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Choices#
You may update certain account information through your profile or workspace settings, unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those messages, adjust browser settings related to cookies, and disconnect third-party integrations through available settings or through the third-party service. We may still send required service and transactional communications even if you opt out of marketing messages.
11. U.S. State Privacy Rights#
Depending on your state of residence and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access to personal information, request deletion, request correction of inaccurate information, obtain a portable copy of certain information, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, limit the use of sensitive personal information where applicable, and appeal certain request decisions. You may submit privacy requests by emailing contact@techfabric.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before fulfilling a request and may request additional information where necessary.
12. California-Specific Disclosures#
California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, including the rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, and limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information in certain circumstances. California law also requires covered businesses that sell or share personal information to offer methods for exercising opt-out rights, including honoring Global Privacy Control signals where applicable. Because Fabric does not sell personal information for money and does not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, those opt-out mechanisms are not currently used as standalone request methods. If that practice changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notices or controls required by law.
13. Children's Privacy#
Fabric is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Service. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us unlawfully, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
14. International Transfers#
If personal information is transferred to, stored in, or accessed from a country other than the user's jurisdiction, we will take steps intended to provide an appropriate level of protection as required by applicable law.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy#
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version, revise the effective date, and may provide additional notice where required by law.
